12:03

im sitting here, and i have a chem test tomorrow, and im super scared. the teacher kind of jumps around when it comes to notes, and he didnt tell us anything about the test, and today, we didnt review, we listened to some jeweler talk about diamonds!!! unless they are going to give me a diamond, i could care less- id rather talk about the test! oh, and i found out today that i have a Bible quiz tom (actually today). but i figured, better to bomb the Bible than the chem. i think i could more easily make up the Bible grade......... so basically i should be studying right now, but i'm losing focus, and i don't really see the point in studying, bc i know i wont be getting a good grade. but surprisingly im not depressed, im kind of happy- for now, when i get my grade ill be sad, but i wont worry about that now. and yes, i am rambling, and i should stop, but if i stop, that means i have to study or go to bed, i dont want to study, but if i go to bed, i'll feel guilty. oh, im reading christy right now, by christy marshall- it is one of my absolute favorites. i could never pick a single favorite book, but Christy is in the top ten. so im gonna go now, i havent decided if im going to study or go to bed yet.................. i'll let you know.............maybe

i had an asian adventure!

my mom and i went out to dinner tonight, and it turned into quite an experience! we were going to go to bjs, but it was packed. we went to lucilles, but there were people out the door there, too. so we find an asian restaurant that is korean bbq- one of our favorites. first off we walk in the door and it is graded as a "B," which kind of makes you wonder. so we take our seats, and we are the only whites people in there.i have never felt so white in my life! we ordered the short ribs, and they bring a plate of raw meat over, light the center of the table, and start to cook the meat. then they bring out 10 different little appetizers. they were so scary!!! but i tried them!!! ewww, they didnt taste too good- they were all pickled, and a little sour! i tried seaweed, and radish, and about 5 other things that were all really spicy or sour. but the meat was good---- but it was really fun, and a totally different culture.

you can see that many of them were very bright and ..... interesting.... looking
oh, and the water was yellow

me voice is shot!

so for those of you who dont know, valley boys bball, won cif, and were going on to state championship, and tonight was there first game. it was so awesome. ill start out by saying we lost 64-66, so sad. but it really was a great experience. SO many people came to support the guys... the bleachers were packed, and people were standing on the sidelines. finally they had to close the doors, and you could see people looking in the windows ABOVE the doors, very funny. occasionally all you would see is arms clapping when they heard what was going on inside. the support was awesome, and it was nice to see valley kids enthusiastic about some thing. so the whole time we were cheering and clapping and it was so much fun. i really hope to do it again next year!!!

today felt really long......

i woke up at 9:30, which felt awesome, and watched aristocats with Jim till about 10. then i worked on English until1. after which, i took a shower and ate- i was pretty hungry by that time! then i did history until 4. after that i went to Von's to buy soda and shaving cream, but i couldn't find shaving cream, so i went to thriftys. afterwards, i went straight to babysitting. i was watching the vande steeg kids. fieldhouses brothers kids. one 6 yr old? and a 5 month old? something like that. i played a wii, for the first time, but only for a little while. the baby would not stop crying. by the end of the night i think i walked in a circle 200 times! all i know is that i started at about 8:10, and they got home at about 8:45. thankfully he wasn't crying when they walked through the door- that would have been a little embarrassing. so that was my day. long, but i hadn't held a baby in forever, and it felt so good.

today

it was a pretty nice day! i received a math quiz back, in which i did well. i got my devotion over with for English. which is a nice feeling now, but all through the 'presentation' i could hear my voice trembling. yearbook was fun, flietstra brought food (aka chocolate) in, so it was yummy. i took a test in bible, I'm not too sure how i did. the format was exactly the kind that i hate. if he had of handed me the notes not filled in, i could have done it, but oh well. chemistry wasn't good, it seldom is, but it wasn't bad, either. i think i understand what i am doing, ill see tomorrow, when we grade the homework. history was fun, just because we all got in our groups and talked. my group is Amy, Chelsea, and mike (don't feel like typing out his whole name) d. study hall was boring, but i got some homework done, so it was productive. Danielle kept walking by the door, which was unusual. the ride home was definitely a highlight. Bethany was behind me the whole way home, but on San Antonio, she pulled up beside me. so we are both trying to go the same speed (35, as it was the speed limit) and we were yelling a conversation. she said wilderness challenge was fun, but she didn't climb. when i got home, my registration forms were here! yikes, already??? i have 8 elective options. 8!!!! how am i supposed to fill in 8?! i don't know what i want to take. ill probably take ceramics3 and possibly 4, since i need to fill things up. maybe yearbook again, id like to be a teachers aid, land culture and book, definitely. what else? my mom wants me to take all the smart electives- like accounting, banking, anatomy, etc. i dont want to. i also dont know what english to take. english 4a, 4b, or 4c? or should i be ambitious, and attempt ap? i dont know what to do!!!

awkward

i have been getting these calls lately, from junior/seniors attending certain colleges. they are slightly awkward, to say the least. it is obvious that they have to fulfill a service of some kind, and one of the options, is calling juniors/seniors of high schools. you can tell that they have a list of questions infront of them, and i dont know, i just dont like it. possibly because i simply dislike talking on the phone..........
