today

it was a pretty nice day! i received a math quiz back, in which i did well. i got my devotion over with for English. which is a nice feeling now, but all through the 'presentation' i could hear my voice trembling. yearbook was fun, flietstra brought food (aka chocolate) in, so it was yummy. i took a test in bible, I'm not too sure how i did. the format was exactly the kind that i hate. if he had of handed me the notes not filled in, i could have done it, but oh well. chemistry wasn't good, it seldom is, but it wasn't bad, either. i think i understand what i am doing, ill see tomorrow, when we grade the homework. history was fun, just because we all got in our groups and talked. my group is Amy, Chelsea, and mike (don't feel like typing out his whole name) d. study hall was boring, but i got some homework done, so it was productive. Danielle kept walking by the door, which was unusual. the ride home was definitely a highlight. Bethany was behind me the whole way home, but on San Antonio, she pulled up beside me. so we are both trying to go the same speed (35, as it was the speed limit) and we were yelling a conversation. she said wilderness challenge was fun, but she didn't climb. when i got home, my registration forms were here! yikes, already??? i have 8 elective options. 8!!!! how am i supposed to fill in 8?! i don't know what i want to take. ill probably take ceramics3 and possibly 4, since i need to fill things up. maybe yearbook again, id like to be a teachers aid, land culture and book, definitely. what else? my mom wants me to take all the smart electives- like accounting, banking, anatomy, etc. i dont want to. i also dont know what english to take. english 4a, 4b, or 4c? or should i be ambitious, and attempt ap? i dont know what to do!!!

The driv home today was SO much fun!!! I'm sure the people behind us were a bit creeped out. They're probably just jealous of our love.

Ok so I heard ALL the Englishes are good. I'll give you the pros and Cons:

-English 4A-
Pros: It's Mrs. Winters! You've never had her before right? Well you will LOVE her. she's like the perfect English teacher. And when she reads out loud she uses VOICES. I would take the class just for her.

Cons: There's alot of poetry. You hardly do any poetry (if any) in the other two. You also read alot of Shakespeare, but it's fun because Winters used to be the drama teacher, so Shakespeare is like her specialty.

-english 4B-
Pros: I LOVE MR. BECHER. The class is an easy A, and My Becher is sooo chill. For example, he doesn't care how you write a paper (So you dont need to worry about a thesis, conclusion or full body paragraphs). He cares about the content and your thoughts. He's also the NICEST guy ever!!!! Plus he laughs at his own jokes. Again, I would take this class just for the teacher.

Cons: So far, none!!!! I'm in his class right now and it's my favorite class.

-English 4C-
Pros: It's an easy A. The class is all reading (as are all English classes I suppose) and no grammar!!! Actually I dont think there IS grammar senior year. Maybe they figured that by Senior year we'd start maturing and automatically start using correct grammar. Weird. And Snoeyink teaches this class. I'm not crazy about her, but I was familiar with ehr teaching style since I had her twice before.

Cons: None, really. It's easy, but it's just not that enjoyable.

So, I would reccomend English 4A and English 4B. I think you'd really enjoy both. I hope that helped!!! :)

OH!!! More!!

So Mr. Becksvoort asked us to reccomend underclassmen for LCB and I reccomended you!!! I HIGHLY reccomend that class (how many times can I use that one word?). It's one of the best classes I've EVER TAKEN!!!! Besides Wilderness Challenge that is. But yes. TAKE LCB!!!! You'll LOVE IT!!!

Also!

Anatomy!! I tried to get in, but I turned my schedule in reeeeally late. And EVERYONE wanted to take Anatomy. I was never able to take it but I would still reccomend it just because Mr. T is awesome.

8 electives? what "core classes are you taking? i mean, you have to take an english class and bible/pe and gov/econ... you're probably not taking spanish... so you're not taking science or math?

i see danielle walk by my chem class (7th) pretty frequently.. or at least a couple times this semester

well, if you want an easy senior year, don't take AP english... but since you aren't taking math or science (by the looks of it) you could probably handle it just fine.

you're taking yearbook again? (or at least thinking about it) wow.. i'm surprised. well, at least there will be ONE returning member, then.. haha

i've heard that english 4a is best (with mrs. winters)... and she's an amazing teacher. she's one of my favorites.

it looks like you have all teh things filled in that are required.. you have 7 electives (8th doesn't count because you aren't actually talking 8.. you only get 7)... so that's just like danielle. only difference is that she's taking spanish not math and you're taking math adn not spanish
