do you ever feel boring?

I spent the weekend with my sister, and wow. She and Ben are just so interesting that I feel so boring around them:) They are both so smart. It makes me wish I cared about learning. I think it is important, but only so far as it will get me to my next step in life. They love it, and ask them about anything, and they can give you five facts about whatever you ask. It is amazing. I love them. I love hanging around them. They always make me want to change. I am who I am, though. The most I can do is let more of my personality out because I am me and not them.
Did that make any sense?


Anyways. My mom and I left Friday morning. We arrived, wandered around Sacramento, looked at some great neighborhoods, had a great lunch- best burger I've ever eaten! We hung around her apartment that afternoon- Ben came home. Then Mom and Mary went to get a canvas to paint on, and Ben and I played a game.
Saturday we went to my cousin's wedding. Got to see a lot of my family, which was awesome. I got to sit with some of my cousins, which was amazing. That pretty much took all Saturday.
We had to leave early this morning, but it was nice to be able to relax at home before going back to school.

I can no longer fight it. I have senioritis B.A.D! Summer should get here pronto. Oh, and I'm craving the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go with me?????

princess and the pea

driving home toady was quite a story. i was going down del amo as i usually do, and at an intersection, i had to wait for this poor guy. the signal was green, and the cars were backed up. some guy had dropped a notebook and all his papers were scattered around on the street. maybe his girlfriend dumped him, and then threw him and his notebook out the car window, but whatever happened, i felt awful imagining what i would feel if i had to go around picking up all the papers. then a few streets further down, i saw one small pickup with the back filled with probably a dozen mattresses. i would have counted, but it turned to corner. but there really were twelve all roped together. so anyways, that made me think of the princess and the pea.

As you can probably tell, nothing momentous has been happening lately, so i decided to write about my drive home:)

I am loving this rain- and not loving this english outline. but my stomach is grumbling so im going to go find a snack. i get to dash through the rain to reach the house:)

school

first day of my last semester was today. everything is pretty good. i do not like having math first period, but i can't change it, so hopefully it will be ok. economics seems like a good bunch, i like the classes that have just seniors in them. ceramics probably won't be fun, but i'll get through it. english is always good, although i'm a little confused sitting in the back on the right side of the room. it feels odd:) and Bible. Bible should be interesting. again, some good people in the class, though no one i know well.
it hit me today that there are only 18 more weeks of school. 18 more mondays. 18 more chapels. one more jsb. senior trip, ditch day. at this exact moment, i am only excited for graduation, though i know at any moment i will change my mind and not want to leave the comfort of high school:D

hooray

well, finals are finally over. i am so relieved to be done! hopefully i wont have to take them next semester, either:)

I am so stressed about this stupid government final! no one is going to pass!!!!!

random junk

So far, 2009 has held much stress. Nothing unusual though, so it's all good. So many people are getting married this year! I think i know of 4 couples so far. First semester is almost over- I'm excited, but not for second semester, if that makes sense. now i think im going to just let myself go and see what happens. i just got an email from a friend talking about baby names, so im kind of stuck on that subject at the moment. i actually have a whole book of baby names sitting at my feet. i need to return it to heather. ashley and cynthia came over on sunday. we just sat around and talked for a couple of hours. pretty random, pretty fun. i think both of them were a little sleep deprived- maybe a lot:) i just opened the baby name book and saw the name gus. it is a nickname for august. maybe i should start going by gus- i wonder if it would catch on. i think id forget to respond! for a while i did think about entering high school under a different name, though. isnt that weird? ive also been thinking about what i would do, if i decided to cut my hair......... any ideas? i feel like i need another break already. one without homework, holidays, people, shopping, tests to think about.... ok im done- i didnt get very far, but now i need to go do some homework!!!! fun stuff:))))))))

friday: finished filming at andreas house (i was the cancer patient:()
went out to dinner with danielle and amy friday night. went to bjs on 2nd street. then yogurt land. i got a ton of different choices:) that was my first time at yogurt land. pretty yummy!
then.......... we went back to her house. and learned the dance for soldier boy. and made up some caribou lyrics to go along with the dance... pretty sweet. actually not, were dorks. but, danielle had to do it, so whatever

today: i got my foraml acceptance letter from providence :):):):):):)

2009!!!

it will be my year in 11.5 hours! i am so excited. 2008 has been a great year, some big things will happen in 09 that will change a lot. graduation for one, college for two, and a new neice/nephew! these are just the three i know about, though. lots more could happen:)

Christmas break

break has been amazing. my sister and brother came on tuesday, and ever since then weve been playing tons of games. we dont usually play games, but we did this time. most nights we would sit there until 11-12 and just play. pictionary was definitely a favorite.
