today was great!
i woke up, and worked on my Bible paper,
took a shower,
i went to a book store at the lakewood mall where they have books for a dollar. i bought four childrens books. the mixed up files of mrs basil e frankwiler, i cant remember the others, and my mom gave me blueberries for sal. all for my someday kids, but i love them, and can remember reading them.
then we went down to belmont shores and we went in a flower shop for the wedding, we went into tjs, where i got a smoothie- which tasted good since it was like 5 billion degrees out!
then i went with heather to a thriftstore. i found an awesome side table, which matches the one i got a couple of months earlier!

today was nice. i worked at julies for 6 hours. today was the first time it was ever busy while i was working, so there were always people which made it not such a long day. the problem is, whenever i go there, i always want to buy something. they have a necklace i love!!! it is a small chain, with a fresh-water pearl, and a little pendant that says joy. i studied for chemistry all day. then i came home, and looked over Bible. then, i went to target. i looked at shoes, but there weren't any that were fancy enough/ i liked that would go with my dress. but i love to wander around target. and now, it is now!

wow, can you believe this? 17 months! i know some people at valley who have about the same reading skills as this kid- she is good!

Providence

today was long, but ok, i guess. once we arrived we took a tour of the campus- so small. it is about the size of the middle school i would guess? we then went to a class and chapel. the class was ok- boring, but the teacher seamed really nice, and there were only about 10 kids, so if you had a Q, you could ask. chapel was pretty awesome, too. a group had just gone down to Costa Rica on a service trip, and they talked about that. then we went to lunch, and the people were so friendly! we sat with 3 or 4 other girls, and they were all super nice. later they took us around to the dorms, which were HUGE! there were about 4 girls in a dorm. laundry is free, which is cool. then we went and talked to some people about financial aid and all. something that made me happy. the total cost is about 24,000 a year. if you score above a 1500 on the sat, and have a gpa above a 3.8, you can have 75% off!!! thats 18,000. which leaves 6. if i get the scholarship from valley, that is an additional 1,000 off. plus -500 bc i go to a reformed church. amazing. it would be awesome to only have to pay 4,500 for a Christian education. so ya, it was a pretty good day. and they are only about an hour away from here- very easy to get home for the three day weekends

first of the season

i got my first layer of red today! i went to the beach with amy and grace. the weather was perfect- warm, but the breeze made it nice. we didn't go in swimming, though. much too early and cold for that. we sat on a blanket and talked, and i ate subway, which was verry yummy.
now, i feel hot and itchy, though. i didnt know i was getting burned.
tomorrow should be fun. (not). i have to go visit Providence. it is something good to do, i just don't want to- especially not on one of the last days of vacation.

i need to start homework tomorrow, and i dont want to.

i am going to work at julie's 2 saturdays coming up- hopefully i wont have much homework.

my sister is getting married in 2 months 11 days 13 hours and 30 minutes.

we have ants in our bathroom.

some of my teachers may be at my sisters wedding- including bras! kind of freaky...

i have been on the computer way too much this break,

but i have also been taking a ton of walks this week too.

im going (99% sure) to new zealand this summer,

my uncle thinks i should get an international license incase i get bored and want to go driving while im there- not going to happen, since everything is flipflopped!

i now own 2 pairs of shorts! hoorah. up until now, i have hated shorts, but the past two summers ive been wearing them anyways, and they arent so bad....

so that was my day. yesterday was fun too....

came home from school, met bethany at jamba juice, i got one, went to its a grind, she got one. sat in the back of my truck, and enjoyed them. talked for awhile. then we went to her house, and played with hair and took pics! it was pretty cool. heres some pics-

every once in awhile, our Bbible class sits in a circle, and we talk about a book we have been reading. it is a very relaxed setting, and very fun. today, i was sitting next to amy, and randomly she sticks a pen under my face and says "i broke it." up until that point, everyone was talking, but at that moment it was silent. i ofcourse, found this funny, busted out laughing! im not kidding, it was so loud- the whole class turns and stares at me. branderhorst turns to the person next to him and says "she is laughing at me." grace told me later that he had been talking about his having pimples- weird i know, but it fit with our discussion. so here i am laughing really hard, while the class is silent, and right after my teacher was talking about his skin. not the right time for me to start laughing! it wasn't even funny! it was just one of those random things that i just had to laugh at though- i was almost crying. with everyone staring at me, i sobered up pretty fast though, and we were able to continue...


i couldn't believe i did that. i had no idea my laugh would come out that loud!!! i am usually one of the students who sits in their desk not talking, or at least only talking very quietly.

the integrity of my car has been compromised...

to put it dramatically. but no, some idiot ran into me on dumont. i was at the stop sign, someone ran into him, and he ran into me! so i didnt know what to do, so i turned the corner- bc there were tons of cars all waiting behind me- but he took the opportunity to drive off!!! thankfully my car is ok, and the girl who ran into him called to check that everything is ok, so that was nice, but im still really mad that he just drove off.
