today

today was exciting in some ways, and borring in others. i woike up at about 8:30 and went and washed my hair. after that, my mom went to southcostplaza with my grandma, and the cleaning ladies came. i hate being here when they are. first off, i fell like a lazy bump, bc they are working. secondly, if im hungry i hate going in to the kitchen, bc they always clean the kitchen first. so i walked to jambajuice and ordered a razzmatazz, and then i walked down to the pet store, where i bought two helpless little mice to feed my snake. i walked home, fed my snake, got a book, and walked over to my grandparents house. my grandma was with my mom and my grandpa is fishing somewhere. over there i sat and held the little kittens. they are a week old today! they are so cute. they probably way .5 a pound each! there are 2 black ones, and one siamese! it is so weird that they had a "siamese" kitten, when both parents are completely black! so i the nread and walked back home about three or four hours later. then my mom comes home, and she has my favorite food ever! a loaf of soft bread from southcost. i love bread, and it was soft, and we had saltless butter! so that was my day... how wer yours?

i cant help but draw out the design of any room. especially, if its going to be mine some day. heres my temporary layout.

yearbook camp

monday: i got up at about 7:30, and my mom dropped me off at valley. there, we piled into the car. it was me, allison, chantal, and rachel. on the ride up, we mostly talked about the yearbook. when we got there, we had arrived about an hour and a half early, so we sat on a curb under a tree and talked and ate lunch. then we registered and went to find our dorms. we had to go down about 2 hills, before we could find them - all this while carrying 10 pounds of luggage. it felt like it anyway, laptops aren't all that light! so we found our dorms, and everything was fine, there were 4 bedrooms with 2 people in each. rachel and i, allison and chantal, danielle and amy, were together, and there were also 2 other girls who were really nice, and who rachel and i were talking towhile allison and chantal slept. then we went to classes after 3, and they were ok, kind of borring. we had dinner at 5, and then went back for more classes until 10. then we had a dorm meeting at 10:30. nothing very exciting happened the first day, except that amy was the first person to win an ipod shuffle. we went to bed at about 12:30.tuesday: we had to get up at about 6:30 to go eat breakfast at 7. we ate from 7 to 7:30. at 7:30 we had to go to the computer geek to load some programs onto our computers. at least, i think it was tuesday morning! it all kind of runs together. and you have to understand, he was pretty cute, and allison had said so, so ofcourse she was teased mercilessly all week! it was so fun! our schedule went something like this. wake up at 7, go to breakfast at 7:30 and eat until 7:55, then we sprinted across campus to get to our first class at 8. we had class from 8 to 11:30. then we had lunch and from 12:30 we had class until 2:30. that is when we had a break and then went back to class until 5. from 5 to 6:30, was dinner. later, we had a staff meeting until 9:30. then we had to go back to something for about 30 minutes. at 10:30, we had a dorm meeting, and at 11 we were able to go to bed- but didn't. rachel and i stayed up until 1:30 working on the yearbook. we got to sleep 6 hours of sleep

WHAT THE?!!!

so i logged on to power school, just for the heck of it, and it says i have spanish 3 with cortes! is there another new teacher?



oh oh oh ! ! ! im so excited. i don't need 3 years of spanish, so i think i'm going to drop it. i'm thinking of taking that Bible class by becksvoort, if it isnt full, which i doubt, and maybe ceramics 3

tonight

so i went to dinner with my parents and brother at souplantation. while standing in line, guess who is standing right nxt to me!!! garner! and his wife and kids. i love that man. so we went through the salad bar together, mainly talking about me. he asked me about my schedule and if i had ap classes, and i said no, and said i was too smart not to take ap. then he starts telling my mom this! the whole time im like shutup shutup! she doesnt need to hear that i should be in harder conversations! we both agreed that i didnt need to take ap! but now she is like, cant you get in still? no mom, you have to apply half way (exag.) through second semester, its too late (:D). so then they left, and went in one direction, but then seeing the way they went, i tried to go in the opposite direction. well.. it didnt work! we ended up sitting in one of those booth things that you can see over the top of because it is shaped like a hexagon (i think, not sure how many sides,) and i was staring straight at him! awkward!!!

so then we get up, and my mom insists that we go say bye! embarassing! oh well. so then i get home, and heather walks through the door. she asks if i want to go on a bikeride? i said sure, bc my parents went to a movie and there was nothing else to do. so we put the bikes in my truck, and go to the beach. so we rode on the strand, and nothing much happened, unless you count smiling at a fairly cute boy who kept waving at you, something :). on the way home we stopped at a salvation army thriftstore. i love thriftstores. i bought 3 record albums for only 1.5$! i was very excited, and my sister bought 2 nightstands for 25$! thats so cheap! then we came home.

its kind of sad. my sister is moving out in less than a year, for good, and now we are getting to be the age (again) that we are hanging out more! life is so unfair. i lost my first sister to college, and then ben. then i lose my brother to the war. now my last sister is leaving for nathan! i guess im next. that is a scary thought.

so over all, i like my schedule. except for snoeyink, who it is easzy enough to get good grades, she just moves pretty slow, and baas! i DID NOT want him!!!! dang dang dang it! im very excited for pheifer

so i just got back from visiting my sister and brother. i went with my mom, and we left yesterday and got back today. yesterday, we went to a sushi bar, for lunch. lets just say it was interesting. i like sushi, but not asian sushi, i like the watered down american sushi. later that night, when it had finally cooled down, we went into to the jacuzzi, it was all fun. this morning, we woke up, and said goodbye to ben. then we went to a farm. i saw some fruit on trees that i had never seen before- like cherries and even apples!!! i hadn't seen them, even. im a purebred city girl. so we got to pick and eat tons of peaches and blackberries and rasberries. the blackberries were HUGE. then we went to TJs, and then we went to a japanese store type place. they sold shaved ice, so my mom and mary bought two. it was vanilla icecream on bottom, and then ice, then those red beens that are kind of sweet, then more ice, and finally greent tea powder on top. poured all over it is some kind of sweet sugar or something. i wasn't brave enough to try it, so i got vanilla icecream. we sat in the grass right next to the sidewalk. then we went to a nursery and bought mary a tree. and then we came home!!!

animals

well, so, we added another animal to our circus. a tortoise, whose name is joey. hes pretty big! if any of you saw daisy (our former tortoise that ran away) joey is about 2/ maybe 2.5 times bigger than she was. anyway, ill post pictures later

adventures

so tonight i went out to see ratatouille, with ben, nathan, and paul kent, heather, nicole and christy post, jane and rachel shibley, and louisa hermann. it was really fun! we went at about 7, and had starbucks, and then went to the movie. it was so cute! everyone should go see, our whole row was laughing every 5 minutes. so then we were going to the posts, when we heard a rattling in my car. we pulled over into a parkinglot. so we popped the hood and checked the oil, and were looking at different things, but we couldnt find anything wrong with it. so we got back in and were going to drive home, when the rattling and shaking becomes worse. so we get back out and nathan starts telling me about how his car broke down once, but his was because he had a flat tire1 and we look... and i have a flat. so we call paul and ben, and they come after 10 minutes and paul has to crawl under my car, getting completely filthy on the asphalt! so he chanfes it, and it only takes about 30 minutes! whoopee (sarcasm). but no, it was a fun evening
