dinner

so tonight i went to dinner with heather, john, and louisa. we went to olive garden, but we had a 40 min wait. so we sat outside talking, and who comes out of the resteraunt? the dejongs! wow, it was a little awkward... it was blake and his mom, so she came over and said hi, and he kept walking and sat down a ways a way. well, finally they left, and a little while after, the rest of the dejong family walked past. so then we had dinner, and i ate so much food! breadsticks, and salad, and by the time the main entree came, i could barely eat it! it was good though. fetuccini alfredo. so on the way home, i saw the weirdest thing!!! there was a giant rooster in the back of a pickup! it was about 8-10 feet tall, and it was tied down with about a dozen ropes. it looked like a movie, like something out of godzilla. it was pretty hilarious!

PIRATES

well, i went to the long beach town center yesterday, and finally saw pirates 3. it was pretty good, but overall, i think i was a little disappointed as to how it was. i mean, it was really good, but i didn't enjoy it as much as number 1 and 2. i thought number one was the best, then two, and then three. the first one was more 'believable' despite the fact that they couldn't die. then, number 2 came with "squid face" and the ripped out heart, and it was ok, but i felt it was geared more toward a younger age group. finally three, and if i had of seen it by itself, it would have been excellent, but compared to the other 2 it didn't measure up to them. over all, i thought it was well done though, especially the special effects. i also had that song stuck in my head all day

catching up

so i havent posted in awhile, so im going to post about whats been happening for the past 2 weeks.

so my sister and brother came down. and thats been really fun, especially bc of my sister. shes the one ive always gotten along the best with. i dont know why, she 8 yrs older than i am, though bc were so far apart in age may be why i get along the best with her! we are nearly the same person though.... so that was fun

then, we went to my cousins house, and saw family we havent seen in yrs it seems like. family has to be my favorite thing in the world. i love hanging out with them.

so today, we got out of finals, and i am so excited!!! and my brother is graduating tonight!!! so im excited

and, i just finished HARRY POTTER 5 and 6. they were good! i felt like crying when Dumbledore died, though. i really did. i dont often feel that sad when i read books- the book i felt the worst while reading, though, was CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. when the dad died i really really really wanted to cry!

anyway, have an awesome summer you guys, im so glad that we have blogs so we can all talk over the summer

so ya.. today i was walking to the 99 cent store with my mom, and there was a plank lying on the floor! i saw it a ways back, and i meant to step over it, but as i got closer, i forgot about it, and so i ended up stepping on it! not good. there were 3 or 4 rusty nails sticking out of it, and now i have 3 or 4 holes in my sandal! one of which is all the way through. im not sure if it broke my skin though. i mean, i can see where it poked me, but it doesnt hurt all that bad, and it never bled, so im hoping ill be ok. my family has never been big on medical care. we go to check ups once every 4 years maybe. so i didnt go get the teanus shot, even though i should have, and i am hoping and praying that i dont wake up with lockjaw! well, if im not at school tomorrow, youll know why :)

my day

so i woke up at about 9, then i stayed in bed and read for about 2 and a half hours. it was fun, but i felt very guilty about staying in bed that late! oh well, it was fun! so then i get up, and take a shower. as i was getting dressed, my mom called and she had great news!!! i might have a job this summer. im very excited, its a neighborhood business, with one little lady who owns it. shes really friendly, and all i would do is open the store (it opens at 11), then sit there and be friendly with any customers who come in. dust every once in awhile, but other than that i could sit there and read!!! im so excited! this is such a good opportunity! then i came home and went to bethany's surprise party, which was actually quite fun. i got there, and we all stood aroud talking for about 45 mins, then beth came, and we all talked some more. then we had to go on a scavenger hunt. that was a little awkward, bc i had to go up and ask a stranger if we could all stand in her shower..... a little weird... anyway, then we went back to the house and ate, and then we went into the bounce house, yes kt i know i still owe you money, im sorry, it was fun, we sat around trying to keep the ball off the ground. then we had a jellybean fight, and then the movie xmen was played. then i went home, ate dinner, and we went to blockbuster. i havent been ther in probably 8 months! there was some sale on, so we bought a couple of movies for about 5 bucks each. then we watched one, and it was ok. and now im here

i am sam

its one of the best movies ever! its about a mentally disabled father, who is trying to get his daughter back. social services took her away bc she said she was adopted. he changes the life of his lawyer and foster family. it is so good! the actor is sean penn, and id have to say hes one of the top 5 actors that ive ever seen act. hes amazing, you can not tell at all, that he really isnt mentally disabled

so hes been gone for a couple of days, and its weird, bc i said he must be deadly ill to stay home for such a long time. i mean, he never stays home! he can have a fever, be throwing up, probably have some contagious disease, and not stay home. well this time he IS relly sick. i guess he went to the doctors and got some medication, bc he had had a fever, but i guess he was allergic to it. so today, he went into the emergency room bc he had a rash, his jaw was locked, and his eyes were rolling around in his head. :( poor joseph. please keep him in your prayers....

look how gorgeous the beach was!!! the water was so blue, and really warm. unfortunately it was so rocky that you couldnt swim! the sand was really weird too. it felt like rocks ground up, but not as finely as sand is supposed to be... it was different

more mexico adventures

so on the way to mexico, i had to sit up in front, all by myself, and i was stuck diagonally across the isle from the loudest person ever, and apparently he was going to party his ---- but---- off. well apparently he did bc when i found my seat on the way back, it was right next to him, and he slept the whole way back ( thank goodness) i mean how often are you near the same person twice? he woke up just long enough to ask the 'waitress' for jack and coke..... he was pretty hoarse, though so she couldnt hear him. finally he asks me to tell her and she doesnt know what it is. it turns out all it is is whiskey and coke, why couldnt he have said that in the first place?!?
sitting next to him was especially weird bc on the way to mexico, when we had landed he stood up, and his hand kept brushing my shoulder. and his fongers were moving, so it totally looked, (/and felt) like he waas rubbing my shoulder, kinda freaky

and earlier, before boarding the plane, we were standing in line to have our bags checked, they were looking inside to make sure we didnt have liquor or anything, when up ahead, they open up a suitcase and it was full of raw meat!! it looked like they had shot a cow, and taken about 20 pounds of raw steak. and it was the whole suitcase!!! i totally expected them to have to leave it in mexico, i mean that would be logical, right? nope, after putting the meat in bags marked fragile, they were allowed to board the plane. it was wierd.

MEXICO!!!

well, we were looking at all the jewelry, and we came across this! it was a 'ring' of sorts, it was kinda creepy....
it was a really hot day, so this dog decided to squeeze himself under the refrigorator case this is a picture of the 'town.' oh and something scary. ok some guy was trying to sell me a bracelet i really didnt want, but i hate saying no, and he kept lowering the price. i said no probably 6/7 times, but he wouldnt go away, and finally i bought it. but anyway, when he turns to try to sell danielle something, the guy in the pic walks over, and asks me if im going to a party tonight. at this point danielle turns around and were like, ummm... not tonight no! he was like, well party here tonight at 11. i was like oh! thats cool. and he was like, so, can you come? we were like, we have no way to get here. he says you gotta sneak out! then he asks where we are staying, and danielle turns around at this point (thanks alot) and i told him the hotel name. ofcourse he had never heard of it, i mean there are twenty billion hotels in mexico. but then he tells me, ill give you free taquilla(spl? i dont often spell that) ill even give you free first round! i was like ooohhhh!!!!!!!!! ill see if i can make it ( in my head i was like FREAK!!!!) but yeah, that was our scary adventure, in which danielle left me alone to fend for myself, although she enjoyed listening }=P

this was the beach we went jet skiing at. it was really pretty. jet skiing was fun, but you have no idea how sore i am from it now! i was squeezing the seat with my legs too hard, so now i have ginormous bruises

well im off to mexico in a couple of hours. im excited, and yet there is always a part of me that wants to stay home. i love being at home, i would even rather stay home than leave for just an hour to go to dinner. but im excited to go this time. hmmm.... im hoping that we get home in the middle of the day on sunday so that i can babysit, but i have no idea if i can.

im watching the new pride and prejudice. its would be good if hadnt seen the old one, but i have, so it isnt. :( i cant believe donald sutherland is in it. it just doesnt seem to fit.
