vacation!!!!!!!!

vacation has been wonderful! usually the first week, i am so bored. i go from having so much to do in school, to having nothing. this summer is different. Tuesday i cleaned, Wednesday i went to the beach and graduation, Thursday i cleaned. Friday i went back to school to finish up the yearbook, i also went to cpk with friends and ms cortes. Saturday i worked, then came home to work. today was fun. church was good, then we had lunch at my grandparents, i went to heather and nathan's to watch them open all their mounds of gifts, and then i came home to paint. tomorrow a painter is coming to do my room. Wednesday i leave for NZ! i am excited and scared. i am always scared of wandering into the unknown, and that is what this trip is going to be. once i get there, though, i should be fine. tomorrow i am going on a mission to find my genisoy bars, i haven't been able to find them...

my first day off...

i used to start cleaning my new bedroom. it is so incredibly filthy, and that makes it all the more satisfying. making something "new" out of something "old," feels amazing. that is one of the reasons i love art. to be able to make something out of nothing- i feel like God. and i don't mean that flippantly. how awesome would it have been for Him making the world. and on top of that, He gets to see Christians becoming "cleaner" and "cleaner."

weddings

Thursday:
Thursday was the bach. party. we went down to second street to the crape cafe, which was amazing. i actually had pasta, but we had a crape for dessert, and it was awesome. i think it was nutella, with banana, and strawberries, and whipped cream. yum!
friday:
we had the rehearsal, which went really well. then, we went to the kent's for dinner. it was gorgeous, with tents and lights outside. there were some huge lightning bugs, though. for dinner, we had something called jambalese? not sure if that is how you say or spell it. it is wanton crackers, with rice, shredded chicken, and you could put: gravy, applesauce, green onion, tomatoe, cheese, pineapple, celery, and a couple other things. it sounds gross, it did to me atleast, but it was actually pretty good.
6-7-08
today was really long, and really amazing. the night before, we spent at heather's apartment, up until 1, woke up at about 6:30. we had sticky buns for breakfast, then we met at the church at nine to set up, and do hair, and makeup. everyone looked so pretty. we had subway for lunch, and then the wedding! it was so pretty, i walked down with paul kent. it was very hard not to cry. nathan was so cute! i could look into his eyes as he said the vows, and he looked like he really meant them. then, we cleaned the church, and i went home, where all my family was. we were all eating pizza and drinking stuff- awesome to see people we dont usually get to.

i am so exhausted, i haven't been able to sleep in, in forever! ill post pics later.
