sleep

sleep is a vicious cylce. it all starts on one night when i have alot of homework. i stay up till 10:30 doing it (i usually try to go to bed at 10:30), but then i dont want to go to bed without having any me time. so i stay up until 11-11:30, fall asleep by 12. i am very tired the next day. when i get home i can either sleep or drink coffee. with coffee i am sleepy at about 6 o'clock again, with sleep, i dont feel tired until 11-11:30. so im all weird right now, and i have energy when i should be going to bed!!! what a life :D

i have contacts again. it feels wonderful to not have to mess with glasses. i dont mind them, but they aren't always easy.

lets see, not too much has been going on. school, school will always be going on for the next 9 months. today it was awesome, though. everything just went well. lunch was hilarious, i love my people. math was fantastic, she explained the homework to us. which was good, because i didn't understand half of it. i didn't have too much homework! i've tried not to make school a drag so far. ive been really surprised at how much of a difference attitude makes. i wont let school get me down and depressed and it doesnt! well see how much longer this can last. i admit, ive been ready to give up when my alarm clock goes off. i would like to throw it against the wall and be grumpy, but i think smashing my alarm clock owuld make me laugh.

back to school!

today was the first day back at school, and I thought things went very well. i went to yb first, which was slightly awkward. then i had english, which i am still apprehesive about. ceramics was fine, not what i was expecting, but ok. land culture book looks like it could easily be my favorite class, we'll see... then i got to go to math which doesn't look like it will be too hard. our class is super small, only 12 people, so thats neat. then i went to government. government will probably turn out to be my least favorite class, but whatever. this year i'm really going to try not to let the little things get me down, after all, i'm not going to survive life anyway:D

whatever happens, don't worry just be happy in all that you do, for as long as you stay positive, it will lead to a happier you!

BDAY

today was alot of fun! i went down with a couple of friends to rubys on the pier- not the one in seal beach, because danielle didn't believe seal beach had a pier! we drove down two or three beaches looking for parking, and finally found ourselves at sunset beach. there, danielle and i went into the water while amy and grace sat and talked. we went back to danielle's house, where gary and dawna had bought a cake. which was one of the really good parts of the day, i dont know why. tonight, we had family over and had chinese food! fun, fun. today was great.

so, i am not exactly looking forward to school starting, but i'm determined to make the most of this school year, to not stress out, and to have fun!

back from the dead!

Actually, I'm just back from camping, I went with my mom up towards Palm Springs. We left Wednesday morning and came home today. While we were up there, we saw plenty of little animals. We even were able to see stars! it was amazing- you could see the Milky-Way! It was also fun to go swimming- I don't usually enjoy swimming, but when it is as hot as it was, it felt great!

a first

i went kayaking today. i enjoyed it immensely! gary (who is a city council member) called the rental store (bc someone who is over 18 is supposed to sign release forms) and arranged everything for us. well, when we finally got there they gave us really good paddles and a really good kayak. we went to the canals by naples. we went to see the jellyfish. we swam with the jelly fish. the whole way, people were friendly, calling out and talking. on the way back, i sat backwards, so we could talk better, and that got even more comments! we were out for 1 hr and 45min, so we had a few dollars left. we went to second street, where we decided to go to a pizza place. they told us about a special they were having. buy two pieces of pizza, and get some free beer! i just responded, "oh, okay." later, they asked us if we wanted the beer, and we said no. then they asked us how old we were. apparently they thought us over 21 and were willing to hand us some booze :D then, danielle and i came to my house for awhile!

favorite location..

.its a grind! love that place. i went with amy today, and we figured it was the first time we had done anything alone together. weve gone half way across the world, but never done anything just us. anyways! amy hadnt had lunch, so we went to subway, and these two guys were in line behind us. one of them reaches across his friend and nudges me. im just like- what do you want? he points to the floor near the drinks, and says- isnt that the biggest roach youve ever seen? it was! i had always thought of it as a clean place. then it started crawling towards us and amy and i ran out. ewww! then we came to my house and i showed her my room! the end. oh, except after that, i made a collage. and we made curly french fries! so yummy. the end. for real.

work

some days, work is so much fun, and other days, it is a complete bore! today was fun- alot of friendly people came in. i had conversations about teacups, businesses round about, purses, clothes, etc. it also helps to have a good book for the in-between times.
