so it is now december, and i can start getting into the CHRISTmas spirit. we put up lights today, and exchanged the fall decor for the winter! next weekend we get to put up our tree too. im excited, i didnt get to look for a tree last year. unfortunately, my mom wants to get a small one this year, kind of a bummer. we are going to put it in our family room, so we need one small enough to put on a table where the dog wont bother it. oh well, as long as it smells good- that is the important part!

WEIRD!!!
so i was checking all the blogs to see if there were any updates, and i checked the fieldhouse blog. they went to silent valley last weekend! the weekend WE were going to go up! (jim got sick though, so we didnt) i didnt know anyone else in the world knew about silent valley! we used to go up every year for my birthday, along with my grandparents, ad celebrate. alot of my childhood memories come from that place. i can remember going up for like 2 weeks one summer and getting stung by bees about 5-7 times! that includes sitting on one by the side of the family center pool, as well as trying to run away from one that was floating in the kiddie pool, but it got carried along in "my" current and stung me anyway :C
i remember going up with jane shibley and our two families would have huge picnics in the field in f section. anyway, i know you guys are probably lost (except MAYBE Beth, bc i took her up a couple summers ago) and ill end. i just thought it was cool that the fieldhouses go there too, and that we almost saw them up there!

back to school
so today was pretty fun!
it was great to be driving again,
yearbook was fun- no one worked too hard. i tried to write copy about volleyball, but since i know nothing about it, rachel helped alot
woodshop was ok, joseph and i only have to put puddy in the nail holes and then stain them, and we'll have 2 new chairs
math was fun, because i understood it, and was talking with rachel most of the time
chemistry was ok. i get it and we worked on a worksheet- wich is way better than taking notes
pe was cool, we got to go bowling. which i suck at. i got 71, but that is what i started at last year (which was also the last time i bowled) and i ended up in the 100s. so hopefully ill improve this year, too
history was borring, but not bad. we watched a movie. gangs of new york. i cant understand 1/2 of what the main character is saying. oh, it was funny. mr bras started singing in the middle of the movie
english was great. i got my research paper back, and did really well. it didnt change my grade though. bummer.
again, the drive home was fun.
and now, im watching 24 until 4:30 when i have to start homework :C

jeans! dekraker?
i needed a pair of jeans really bad. so i went to target. ive only been able to find jeans i like at target or gap. and i didnt feel like driving to gap and spending about 60 bucks. so i went to target. i was looking around and i found a pair for 20 bucks! yes! cheap, right? well i go to the register and the total is $13.97. the jeans were $12! on sale.

tonight i babysat for the fieldhouses's (pe teacher's siter in law) sister and brother-in-law. i babysat two little boys. the son, and the friend. so on the way home, the friend's parents drove me, (i didnt drive bc i didnt know where the house was) the wife says! im cousins with mr dekrakers wife! i was like oh!!! i knew the question was comming and i wasnt sure how to answer. she said, did you have him? yes, in 9th grade! oh. is he a good teacher? ............ ............ ... ........................................................... ....................................................... after a long pause i decided to say. well, i hate science, so i didnt like the class!
yikes. that was an awkward moment right there. you all know my views about dekraker. i mean, how was i supposed to respond?

My brother left to come back to America today. It'll take about 2 weeks before he finally makes it, and he has to go to Texas first. I'm not sure if he gets to come back to Ca right away, but he'll be in US, anyway!

thanksgiving
thanksgiving break started today, but it hasn't really dawned on me yet.
still, i am thankful that i have 9 days that i don't have to get up, go to school, come home and do homework in. though the teachers DO seem to think that break is a time to see how much homework they can pile on, but i have 7 days to do it in, so its ok.
tomorrow we are celebrating amys 16th bday! woohoo. well be going out to bjs for dinner- which will also be the first time i have driven my car for Fun :D
speaking of cars amy, i think i might be back on the bus this winter. she wasnt sure, but my mom said she heard gas was going up to 5bucks a gallon, in which case my car goes in the garage and i start riding the bus- again. hopefully it wont go up that high, though.
so, back to break. monday and tuesday, im home alone with jim. nothing planned, no idea what ill do to survive. wednesday, my mom has off, so itll be a little better. thursday we go over to my grandparents and eat turkey with them and joseph and calvin. friday my mom wants to go up to our trailer (near Idyllwild) but im not very enthusiastic about it. i just MIGHT be able to get out of it. hopefully. shes trying to get me to go by saying well go to palm springs. ive never been there before, and she wants to show me the shops. is it worth it?
anyway, happy thanksgiving! i love you guys

hello
well today went pretty well.
yearbook- nothing much happened! just worked on our pages- which i like!
woodshop was the same, nothing new!
i got an A on my mathquiz, which made me happy
i took a test in chemistry, and think i did ok
went to a providence orientation thing instead of pe- it was cool
history talked to alex, and took notes
english did grammer, easy stuff, so it was fun
drive home was cool. passed danielle and drove behind amy. listened to danielle's cd mix she gave me. it just put me in a good mood.
i dont have any homework, so i took a long nap, and read.
one life altering fact, though! the writers need to get on with their life, and stop being on strike! 24 might not be on this year bc of the stupid writers!!!

i just went to the lb town center and saw the movie bella. it was pretty good, but pretty sad too. the actor was eduardo verastegui, and he had the prettiest eyes ever! they were gorgeous... heres a picture- i couldnt find one of just his eyes so here is his whole face

i am so excited
for this weekend!!!
we have a three and a half day weekend, and i am siked!
partly bc i wont have too much homework, and partly bc this week has been stressful. i had a chemistry test, a math test (i think, it might have been on friday) yearbook deadline, homework in pe which is ridiculous,quiz in english, and just stuff like that.
let me vent. ive been done with my yearbook page for 2 or 3 weeks, and flietstra knew. today, the day before the deadline, she tells me she wants me to chang the pictures! that means i had today to go take more pictures, and upload them (michael did it, so i didnt get them until the last three minutes of class), tomorrow im supposed to photoshop them, put them in the page, come up with new captions, and my computer is SO slow. im not even kidding, it took me about 8 minutes to log off this morning. i would have been late to class! stupid. oh well, its not hard work, i just wish she would have told me even trhee days ago, instead of now. especially since tomorrows class is only like 25 minutes.
so yes, im looking forward to the weekend. im not going to formal, and am pretty happy about it. its at the long beach marriot, and it didnt really sound too fun of a destination. neither did i want to go to anti formal (disneyland) so ill probably stay at home, or hang out with amy- if she doesnt want to go still, too.
