hello

well today went pretty well.
yearbook- nothing much happened! just worked on our pages- which i like!
woodshop was the same, nothing new!
i got an A on my mathquiz, which made me happy
i took a test in chemistry, and think i did ok
went to a providence orientation thing instead of pe- it was cool
history talked to alex, and took notes
english did grammer, easy stuff, so it was fun

drive home was cool. passed danielle and drove behind amy. listened to danielle's cd mix she gave me. it just put me in a good mood.

i dont have any homework, so i took a long nap, and read.

one life altering fact, though! the writers need to get on with their life, and stop being on strike! 24 might not be on this year bc of the stupid writers!!!

i just went to the lb town center and saw the movie bella. it was pretty good, but pretty sad too. the actor was eduardo verastegui, and he had the prettiest eyes ever! they were gorgeous... heres a picture- i couldnt find one of just his eyes so here is his whole face

i am so excited

for this weekend!!!

we have a three and a half day weekend, and i am siked!
partly bc i wont have too much homework, and partly bc this week has been stressful. i had a chemistry test, a math test (i think, it might have been on friday) yearbook deadline, homework in pe which is ridiculous,quiz in english, and just stuff like that.

let me vent. ive been done with my yearbook page for 2 or 3 weeks, and flietstra knew. today, the day before the deadline, she tells me she wants me to chang the pictures! that means i had today to go take more pictures, and upload them (michael did it, so i didnt get them until the last three minutes of class), tomorrow im supposed to photoshop them, put them in the page, come up with new captions, and my computer is SO slow. im not even kidding, it took me about 8 minutes to log off this morning. i would have been late to class! stupid. oh well, its not hard work, i just wish she would have told me even trhee days ago, instead of now. especially since tomorrows class is only like 25 minutes.

so yes, im looking forward to the weekend. im not going to formal, and am pretty happy about it. its at the long beach marriot, and it didnt really sound too fun of a destination. neither did i want to go to anti formal (disneyland) so ill probably stay at home, or hang out with amy- if she doesnt want to go still, too.

this weekend has been awesome!

let me start out by saying that i have loved driving to school! i save about 5 hours a week, altogether.

yesterday: my mom and i went down to 4Th street.

-we saw awesome furniture

-i discovered my favorite style. mid-century modern, i love it

-i saw some awesome naked people (aka mannequins, but none were for sale:(

-you know the head i bought a couple weeks ago? i saw another, that ISNT chipped, for the same price. kind of a bummer, but i think mine has a better expression



today: woke up, and finished reading my book,

did my homework

took a shower

i went to the cerritos mall with my mom.

- we went to the puppy store!!!

i found out one of my top 3 favorite breeds is english springer spaniel. they are so cute. there was a 2 month old puupy, who we took into one of the sitting rooms. it was SO cute. it was black and white, and unlike many puppies who like to run around and play, he stayed in your lap, and licked, and cuddled with you. i think i might want one of these more than i want a boxer even!!!! and thats saying alot

- we went to nordstrom

i found a really pretty black dress, but it was way too much, so oh well. then i found a very cute jacket- on sale for $15! so that was an awesome find. then i found a blue polka dot dress.

then we went to souplantation, where they had the best lava cake ever! it was like a fresh warm brownie, that is still really gooey, with a thin layer of brownie on top. with a little ice cream, it was heaven on earth :)

i got it!!!

well, i finally got my license this morning, and right after, i drove to school. how freaky is that? driving by myself w/in the hour i got it! it was fun.

last night was fun, too! it was about 10:00 and i realized that my car was filthy, and i could barely look out the front window. so i went out - pitch black - and washed it with the help of jim! cars kept driving by, and giving us funny looks, but it was fun <3

this is andrew, jim, taylor, me. andrew and taylor are brothers, and our are cousins- well actually second cousins once removed, or something, but its easier to call them cousins.

i realize this is kinda late, but i just picked out the pictures from over the summer, from my moms camera- here they are

so today was pretty fun- except for the part where i failed my drivers test- but other than that, it was cool :D. we went to the food bank today, and packed 1500 boxes in 2 hours! that was so awesome, i never thought we could have done that many. i can tell you, though, my hands were sore after gripping 1500 42(or is it 6) oz cans of grape juice!
so after that i go to the dmv to take my test. its 3:45, and they tell me "sorry, youre missing the proof that you passed behind the wheel" i had everything i needed for my permit test, as well as registration and insurance. so i was SO disappointed, i was driving home, and i was crying my eyes out- probably shouldnt have been driving! so we go inside, and my mom gets the paper, and yells "get back in the car!!!! i found it" so i let her drive- i didnt want to be speeding back to the dmv. we left our house at like 3:55, and got to the dmv at 4:03. we get to the window, and they said "we dont have you booked" ummm... we were here 18 minutes ago? so they finally find me. in the last 20 minutes, ive gone from being so mad and disappointed, to being happy, and very nervous. well basically, i do everything right, until we get back to the dmv! i hit the curb turning into the parking lot!!!!!!! argh, if it hadnt been for the last 30 seconds, i would have passed. but after the whole emotional ride with not having my paper, i wasnt as disappointed as i might have been. i guess i kind of expected it. so i guess ill make another appointment

no luck, but thats ok!

this is going to be a great upcomming week!

so im totally excited for this week!
im totally loving yearbook so far, and im ready to start working on my page again.
friday we get to go to the food packaging plant and pack boxes
this weekend, my cousins are coming back from Tennessee, whom i havent seen in probably 3 years.
monady we have off!!!

i dont know how the homework load is going to be, but i shouldnt have a test in math, or chemistry. english we have a test on huck finn, which should be easy, and i love woodshop and yearbook! im hopping that i understand this next section in math...

so i just finished my 40 hours of practice driving! whoohoo!
that is pretty much all i did today, except homework, and read. yesterday i was at the harvest festival, which was super fun this year, bc i got to work in the yearbook booth. face painting! oh yeah! i loved it. i could do an awesome rocket ship, but i could hardly do a heart w/out smearing it- oh well :D
i was all set on going to the football game afterward, but it was freezing, and i was exhausted, and my throat was way too sore for it! so i went home, and crawled into bed at 10! it felt amazing.

by the way, does anyone know how long sore throats are supposed to last?
