animals

well, so, we added another animal to our circus. a tortoise, whose name is joey. hes pretty big! if any of you saw daisy (our former tortoise that ran away) joey is about 2/ maybe 2.5 times bigger than she was. anyway, ill post pictures later

adventures

so tonight i went out to see ratatouille, with ben, nathan, and paul kent, heather, nicole and christy post, jane and rachel shibley, and louisa hermann. it was really fun! we went at about 7, and had starbucks, and then went to the movie. it was so cute! everyone should go see, our whole row was laughing every 5 minutes. so then we were going to the posts, when we heard a rattling in my car. we pulled over into a parkinglot. so we popped the hood and checked the oil, and were looking at different things, but we couldnt find anything wrong with it. so we got back in and were going to drive home, when the rattling and shaking becomes worse. so we get back out and nathan starts telling me about how his car broke down once, but his was because he had a flat tire1 and we look... and i have a flat. so we call paul and ben, and they come after 10 minutes and paul has to crawl under my car, getting completely filthy on the asphalt! so he chanfes it, and it only takes about 30 minutes! whoopee (sarcasm). but no, it was a fun evening

recently

so sunday and yesterday were so much fun.
sunday:
well, i expected to go baby sit, and i was excited bc i hadnt seen bethany in 3 weeks. but we didnt have top babysit! so i went to their house and we went around taking pictures with her new camera. it was fun. aaron came with us and we took pictures of lemons and dancers and head surgeons (sort of). it was just really fun.

last night:
so the kents came over for dinner. well, just nathan, paul, and mr and mrs. but they are so funny! i love mr kent, and paul!!! the whole night they were just laughing and laughing!
here was a conversation with mr kent, paul, and i.
mr kent: you know, these flowers look alot like mine. (there was a vase of roses on the table)
me: oh really?
paul: yeah dad, thats cause we brought them
--- everybody laughing---
paul leans over to me and says: you know, he must be deaf, because last time we walked through here, he said the same thing, and i told him we brought them.
mr kent: really? i didnt hear you!!!


it was all just really fun, and we were all laughing really hard. they stayed until 10:45, and then they went home, and my sister took me to go get gas in my car. it was the first time i had filled it up, and i was barefoot! it was fun, it seemed very fitting somehow. you know, mary when she graduated from calvin went barefoot, and she also got married barefoot, and heather isnt going to wear any shoes, and i know im not going to be doing anything uncomfortable, which means barefoot, and on and on and on. it shows you how we really dont believe in shoes

i hate idiotic kids!!!

some idiots threw an egg at my car! luckily it hadnt dried all the way, or it would have peeled the paint off. i hate stupid teenagers!!!

books

well, if anyone is looking for a good book, i just finished 3 WEEKS WITH MY BROTHER. and it was really good. its by nicholas sparks and his brother micah. he also wrote A WALK TO REMEMBER, and THE NOTEBOOK, and alot of other famous books. its about their boyhood and a trip around the world they are taking. its really good, and yet sad too.

so i went to my job today, and i have to say, it was pretty borring. for the first 2 hours, i sat and talked to the owner, but nobody came in. so, at about 1, she left to go to home depot, and left me there. well, about 5/6 groups of people came in, in a 3 hour period of time. so there wasnt much to do. i dusted the shop, and rearranged some of the merchandise, but after that there was nothing to do. so i read for awhile, but the last hour was so borring. and hot!!! she hadnt shown me where the ac was, so the store was very warm. luckily it was untollerable, bc i am going back next week.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

WOW, ALWAYS BEFORE, I JUST THOUGHT THAT THE 4TH WAS A DAY TO LIGHT FIREWORKS. NOW, WITH JOHN IN THE ARMY, IT MEANS A LOT MORE TO ME THAN THAT. I AM NOW TRULY THANKFUL FOR OUR INDEPENDENCE.

i get my car tomorrow!!! my dad told me tonight that he and my mom would pay for insurance until i get my license!!! yay.

oh, and tomorrow is my kittys birthday.

oh,oh, i need a name for my truck. shes a girl, so any suggestions? i dont want a girly girl name, something cute, but not girly like sophie... i was thinking about Willow. i love that name, but i dont know if id want to name a kid that, so....

my last sister is engaged!!!! and i absolutely love her engagement ring!!! it is the most gorgeous ring i have ever seen... i am very excited, because i love love love nathan kent. i dont know if i will be able to sleep tonight!!!

backyard

"olivia"

so we just bought an olive tree, and her name is olivia. go figure. anyway, she is really cute, and i have to say, olive trees are probably my favorite trees of all time. here are some pictures of my backyard, its about 10 times smaller than my old one, and im honestly not exaggerating, but i love what my mom has done with it.

abd this is our little 'patio', that is right infront of my bedroom.

the room that you can see in the background, belongs to my sister. it is attached to the garage, but it has a sink, a washing machine, and its generally just one big room. and, the most exciting part of all, to me, is that in probably 1 year, it will be mine. (isnt that exciting bethany? im only guessing of course though) so i like to gin and plan how im going to decorate it, but im really not sure, bc i honestly prefer rooms the size of mine is right now. for some reason, i dont really like big rooms/houses.
